Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. - Psalm 119:105

Discipleship

Did you know the Bible tells us to Eat God's Word!?

Look up Revelation Chapter 10 and check it out! But, perhaps this may be too much fiber for your diet, so here is a plan to get to know the Book of books, Gods' most precious Word, that is real and relevant for your life now and forever!
In Matthew 10:34-42, Jesus calls us to take up the cross. This passage goes against the grain of most Christian mindsets, just as it did when Jesus first gave it. Yet, it is essential for us to understand who we are in Christ and allow His empowerment to come into our relationships. What does this mean? How does this affect my relationship with God, my relationship with self and with others?
Sex is very tempting, and you need a great deal of strength to resist that temptation. You certainly can't do that alone. You'll need God, a strong desire to abstain from sex, and friends who will support your decision. The people who've told you it's OK to sleep around are not that kind of friends, and they're not people you should be listening to.

There's a great life ahead of you if you go in the right direction. And you need to make sure the people around you want to go that direction, too.
Are you secure in your life? If so where is your trust placed?

Here is a helpful talk curriculum to teach youth to focus on Christ with lots of examples and Scripture.
Let us go out and live as our life belongs to our Lord, as it does, and strive our best to be our best for His glory!
Allow Christ to Challenge you to live for the faith!

What would your life be like if you took this challenge seriously?
If we are receivership oriented and not Christ centered, then all of those circumstances will be squeezed, and bitterness and resentment will flow out of them. Or we can be Christ centered and oils of sweetness will pour out. What pours out from you?
What is Your Legacy? You can be the example of faith and stewardship of what we have, which always comes from somewhere we did not make or refine. God is the Great Maker and Refiner; we give to Him and we become His representative as a show of gratitude and devotion. We can show character in adversity and in power that resounds though time and history long after we are gone.
Who are the demons and what can they do to me?

Have you ever had a really rough day? As you stress and toil through life, taking hit after hit from gossipers, prideful hypocrites, and others whose intentions were suspect; perhaps even malice laden. And, all the while, you remain steadfast in your walk with Christ, striving to model His character and love. Maybe what we are going though is Spiritual Warfare...
What does it mean to be Spirit filled?

Has someone ever asked you if you are "led by the Spirit?" or if you are "Spirit driven" or "Spirit-filled" or have the Holy Spirit's Baptism? Since the turn of the twentieth century, many Christian groups have placed their focus on the Holy Spirit as front and center for the Church as well as their personal and ministry life. As a result, a lot of various teachings have come up that are very popular, some good, some bad and not biblical.
