Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. - Psalm 119:105

Discipleship

Nothing in our Christian life is as important or compares to the value of learning God's Word and then incorporating His precepts into our lives. Thus, memorizing a passage of Scripture is an essential way not only to know His Word, but to know and grow in our Lord and Savior.
Did you know the Bible tells us to Eat God's Word!?

Look up Revelation Chapter 10 and check it out! But, perhaps this may be too much fiber for your diet, so here is a plan to get to know the Book of books, Gods' most precious Word, that is real and relevant for your life now and forever!
In Matthew 10:34-42, Jesus calls us to take up the cross. This passage goes against the grain of most Christian mindsets, just as it did when Jesus first gave it. Yet, it is essential for us to understand who we are in Christ and allow His empowerment to come into our relationships. What does this mean? How does this affect my relationship with God, my relationship with self and with others?
Remember Jesus calls us first to make disciples! There is perhaps nothing more important in Real Effective and Effectual Youth Ministry than teaching Youth how to study the Bible.

If you want your youth to grow in the faith and remain committed Christians past college and beyond, this is a must! Here is a simple lesson developed from over 30 years of research and practice to do as we have been called.
Consequences; Family communication; Positive Decisions; and Forgiveness...
Young People need to set standards before they get into tempting situations! Because the decisions they make today will effect them for the rest of their lives! We can best do this by understanding what true love is and what God calls us to do! And by living in those standards even in dating!
Sex is very tempting, and you need a great deal of strength to resist that temptation. You certainly can't do that alone. You'll need God, a strong desire to abstain from sex, and friends who will support your decision. The people who've told you it's OK to sleep around are not that kind of friends, and they're not people you should be listening to.

There's a great life ahead of you if you go in the right direction. And you need to make sure the people around you want to go that direction, too.
The God who made sex doesn't frown on sexuality‑not when it's "righteous sexuality"
Have you ever wondered that God wants you unhappy and even miserable? That He wants to kill your joy and fun? Well let's find out if that is true….
DANGER: Any human units not receiving this recall action will have to be scrapped in the furnace. The S.I.N. defect must not enter heaven or else heaven will be infected.
